This family business created in 1961 participates with other producers in the continuous development of apple and pear orchards in Maine et Loire, thanks to 1200 ha including 200 own. The group is able to federate partner producers with the same objective of sustainable agriculture, quality and customer service. It organizes the production of its fruits in France but also in Chile, via its subsidiary Andinexia which also sells cherries. The goal is to offer a wide range of fruits all year long. In 2018, the group is developing in the South-West production area with the resumption of the BSO packaging station, located in Castelsarrasin. A pioneer in sustainable development in the fruit and vegetable sector, particularly through the creation of Demain la Terre association, the La Blottière Group is a key player.
